Well, it was an interesting month of February and we had a few people submit some contest results.  Talk about diverse styles!! Very interesting; from photos of cars to poems of charm.

We even (cough) had one lady submit something that we can not post and although we appreciate the sheer courage it must have taken to advertising using such a modest….. canvas…. we aren’t “that kind of site”.  Still, Mary, your name was entered into the draw with the other 4 contestants.

Alright, nobody wants to hear what I have to say so let’s get down to the nitty gritty.

LegendSeeker.Net is having a contest! You can win a Box Set of Season 1 of Legend of the Seeker (Region 1 format) by showing what you would do to help promote or raise awareness in order to get a season 3 of Legend of the Seeker! All you have to do is keep reading, follow the contest rules and submit your entry before February 28th, 2010 and be entered to win this Seeker prize!

Fans of any well done sci-fi/fantasy type show are sort of like a large extended family. It doesn’t matter what side of the world you live on, what language you speak, what job you hold and whether or not you are a fan of the books, it simply doesn’t matter because we all have one major thing in common; our “love” of the universe created by Terry Goodkind and the show itself.

With the writing campaign for Season 3 already beginning and with the large volume of cross talk, promotion and cooperation between all the Legend of the Seeker websites out there, we wanted to take a moment to see what you guys would do (or say, make, create, advertise, draw, sing, print etc. etc. etc.) in order to promote a 3rd Season of LoTS.

What does this mean? It means we’re going to have a contest!! A single winner will get a Seeker Prize Pack which will include Season 1 of Legend of the Seeker on DVD! We just picked up two box sets.  The winner will also have their entry displayed for all the world to gaze upon in wonder, in addition we will recommend that it  (for those participating in the writing campaign) be printed off and sent in with other Legend of the Seeker fan’s written letters to the TV stations and studios!

CONTEST DETAILS

Want to win a DVD Legend of the Seeker box set? Promote any of the following;

- Legend of the Seeker (the TV show)
- The campaign for Season 3 of Legend of the Seeker
- LegendSeeker.net (our website)

Create, design, draw, sing, whatever, in the most unique and weird/whacky way possible, take a photo of it and send it to us for judging. We don’t care if you want to knit a sweater that has a LegendSeeker.net logo on it or whether or not you decide to soap your husband’s car with a slogan that reads “Richard + Season 3 or Bust”.  Whatever you want, sky is the limit. Just don’t get arrested!

At the end of February there will be a random draw; the winner’s name will be announced and their submission placed in prominent position for everyone to see. The winner will then receive their Season 1 of the Legend of the Seeker on DVD(*).

CONTEST RULES / REGULATIONS

- Only 1 entry per individual
- Must be submitted no later than February 28th, 2010
- Must not contain adult or mature content, foul language or illegal paraphernalia
- Must be in English if it contains writing
- Must not contain any items which would constitute copyright infringement (implied or expressed)
- Send all submissions to contest@legendseeker.net Be sure to include name, shipping address and photo of your entry

That is pretty much it folks! This is something that you should be able to have lots of fun with during the long week when there are no episodes being aired or at least no new ones.

* – Unfortunately, at this time, Legend of the Seeker Season 1 is only available in Region 1 format and on DVD (no Blue Ray format yet).  While this may limit some of your submissions from our friends in Eastern Europe and Asia, we’d still love to see what you guys have and if you have a player that will do Region 1 we’ll ship it to you.

Details: This wallpaper showcases the cast of LotS. The tagline “An Epic of Two Worlds” is from the third book, Blood of the Fold. To promote/suggest a season 3 following the book like season 2 is using Stone of Tears as a reference. Also, it has the LegendSeeker.net website since this is exclusive to our contest (thx Jason).
